What is App store? It is a market place that sells and distributes digital applications. This App store was developed and maintained by Apple Inc. This App store allows you to browse and download applications for your iPhones and other iDevices. Usually these applications are sold. But sometimes they will be given freely. Anyway 70% of revenue goes to the producer of the application, and 30% goes to Apple.

In July 2010 Apple app store was opened. Up to January 2011 App store had obtained over 9.9 billion downloads. There are millions of applications in apple app store which are being shared between Apple app store and the producers of applications. That means those applications are approved by Apple Inc.

Only the quality applications will be approved by App Store. But some quality applications are being rejected. Because Apple considers that those application go against with their terms and conditions. Especially they reject applications device customization apps, Adult niche, System apps and tweaks for settings. Sometimes you may need to get those rejected applications.

Then what will happen to the other third party applications? That is the matter we wanted to highlight through this article. Obviously Apple doesn’t like to see running of other third party applications in their idevices such as iPhone 4S.

They tried to prevent that with their technology.

But the free developers didn’t like to follow the unfair technological restrictions given by Apple. They tried a lot to find a way towards jailbreaking. Apple tried to get a court in order to prevent that jailbreaking process. But the United States copyrights office decided that jailbreak isn’t illegal and gave the exemption for jailbreakers.

After that Apple suggested to stop this process with the knowledge of technology. At the same time free developers continued their jailbreaking experiments. With the new versions of iPhones and other idevices the free developers of the jailbreaking introduced new ways of jailbreaking like jailbreakme, pwnage tool, Ultrasnow, spirit and redsn0w. These tools are capable of jailbreaking previous versions of Apple devices and allow installing any apps according to users.

Apple didn’t accept their defeat. They released new versions of ios namely; iPhone 4s, ipad 2 and ipad 3.So that they became winners temporary. People find difficult jailbreak those new versions. Therefore users had to depend only on apps store again. That is unfair.Iphone 4s; iPad2 and iPad3 are the latest version of ihistory. Experts of jailbreaking said that it would be hard to jailbreak with its operating system. We think App store and Absinthe has some kind of relationship as we mentioned earlier.

That’s why the Absinthe came to the battlefield. Absinthe can jailbreak A5 & A5x chips with iOS 5.1.1 easily.

Apple uses iOS to run their products like iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and apple TV. We can say iOS must be one of the operating systems like windows, Linux and Android. It hadn’t an official name until the release of iPhone SDK (iPhone software development kit). At the beginning they simply named it OS X. After that it was named iPhone OS. Later the Apple suggested using this operating system for their other products too. With this incident it was renamed iOS in June 7, 2010.

First version of the iOS was released in June 29, 2007 concurrently with the first iPhone. After that lot of versions of iOS has been released by Apple. iOS 5.1.1 is the latest invention for iPhone 4s and other idevices. They will release iOS 6 recently with new features.

These iOS versions were popular among the customers. They were customer friendly and faster system than other famous operating systems like Android. People loved iOS very much and Apple wanted to fulfill their customers’ necessities totally. According to the apple there are over 200 new features in iOS. Meanwhile other mobile phone companies also tried to fight against this system. These are the reasons that Apple had to develop their iOS continually.

In October 2007 Steve Jobs, the former CEO of Apple Inc. made an announcement that new software development kit (SDK) which can used by the third party developers. It is said, a person who wants to be a developer of iOS should be paid $99.In 2010 Apple brought out new development kit called X code. Those developers are given an opportunity to decide the prices of their developed applications. But 70% of the profit goes to the developer and rest of that goes to the Apple. So called developers were the pioneers who upgraded the standards of iOS. They tried hard to upgrade the iOS because of the reasons mentioned above.

They also wanted to make it strong that cannot be jailbroken.

But unfortunately they couldn’t discourage jailbreakers of the world. Presently this Jailbreaking community of the world is capable of breaking the latest versions like A5 and A5 x.
